Monday, October 19th, 2009It’s been a hectic couple of weeks for me, getting organized to head home to Australia for my book (Absolute Mayhem – confessions of an Aussie Pornstar) release tour. Which you can buy in the stores in Australia right now, or online at seekbooks.com.au . Everytime I think I’m close to getting things done, something else comes up!
Right now I’m in the studio, watching my engineer mix one of my favorite songs ‘Fallen’. It’s sounding better than ever now. So this will be a total of 3 songs that I have finished in the studio, but I’m confused as to whether or not to release an EP, or wait a while, since I have so many people in my ear, producers etc who want to work with me to re-work some of the songs.
Actually It’s quite an honor to be faced with so many options, though it’s hard to make these kind’s of decisions, since you never who is sincere and actually willing to put in the time to get anything finished. I’m sure I’ll figure it all out soon. Just got to follow my instincts I guess!
Meanwhile, I just had the best hair treatment of my life! It’s called the ‘Brazilian Blowout’, my hair is super shiny and frizz free! I know it sounds lame to be so excited about something like this, but it’s like a miracle cure for people with curly/frizzy hair. To wake up everyday and have perfect hair is like a dream for me! HA!
I leave for Australia on Tuesday, for about 3-4 weeks. My schedule is insane, flying from one city to another, one radio show to another, signings, photoshoots, Sexpo convention and feature dancing! So if I don’t blog for about a month, you’ll understand why.
The one thing I’m disturbed about, is how conservative the media is in Australia. I’m absolutely shocked that no TV program will have me on there to promote my book, because they think it’s too ‘Risque’ to have a pornstar on national television. Wow. It’s not like I’m some ditz who’s gonna go on TV in a revealing outfit and talk dirty. As you all know, I’m very opinionated and would love to be able to discuss issues such as freedom of speech and censorship.
But what can you do! Can’t change the world. Anyway, I’m sure I’ll have a great time, always good to go back home and catch up with friends and family.
