A Day in the Life…

Sunday, December 12th, 2010

Before I begin, I just want to say that I’m very proud to have two of my songs ‘Escape’ (which is available on Itunes etc) and ‘In Control’ (soon to be released), used in a movie for Wicked Pictures ‘Alektra’s Anarchy’, directed by Barrett Blade and starring Alektra Blue. I saw the first music video and it looks great! I’m so happy that everyone loved my songs and that inspires me to write again. Just need to find the time to get creative, I’m currently discussing doing a dance track, that’s huge right now and would be so much fun.

Don’t forget you can also buy my book ‘Absolute Mayhem’ from any major bookstore and online at Amazon, Barnes n Noble, Borders, Books A million, etc… Would love a nice review on Amazon for Christmas!

Anyway, so a day in the life of a ‘Pornstar turned Vet’s wife’, goes something like this: Wake up, make breakfast – I go for Low GI foods such as soy/linseed toast with smoked salmon and poached eggs or a bowl of muesli with berries and yoghurt. I then go to the gym – do cardio on treadmill and rowing, sometimes cross-trainer, resistance training (with weights), and abs. If I don’t go to gym, I’ll do a soft sand run or the Bondi-Bronte walk, or yoga.

After training, come home, shower, clean apartment, do laundry, check emails and social network sites, discuss business opportunities with certain contacts, chat to friends overseas on IM or Skype, do research on internet for whatever I need to learn about. Then it’s off to run errands.

Sometimes meet friends or business colleagues for lunch. And sometimes for dinner. But mostly, I love to cook, and have been doing alot of cooking lately, very passionate about it and it’s nice to have someone to cook for. Again, trying to stick to Low GI recipes only, brown rice instead of white, brown pasta instead of regular, eating only certain veges etc, though it’s often hard to stick to in a restaurant.

There’s been so many Christmas parties and Birthdays that I’ve been attending lately. Last night, went to my Husbands’ staff Christmas party and got to meet all of his employees. We went bowling, played laser tag and did karaoke. A lot of fun actually, nice to do something different for a change!

Went out to a couple of clubs in Kings Cross a couple of weeks ago. The music was terrible, trying to be so LA but it wasn’t working for them. I’m actually getting into Dance music again now that I’m back in OZ, really never quite got into hip hop. Going to Ivy this weekend for another birthday, it’s supposed to be the best club in Sydney, we’ll soon find out!

I’m currently talking to a big agency about where I might fit into the market here. I’m really hoping that I can do something on TV, whether it be hosting/presenting/acting, but who knows, the media are very conservative, so I’m assuming all TV programs would hate to have a former pornstar on there, but it’s worth a shot anyway!

I’m off to the gym. Have a great Christmas/Hannukah/or just holidays and Happy New Year! Xoxoxo

My Holidays…

Saturday, December 27th, 2008

This sounds kinda sad or even lame, but DONT feel sorry for me, because this is the one day a year where I dont do anything work related – I do not even touch the computer, and spend a whole day alone, doing whatever the hell I want.

Yes, I spent Christmas Alone, but it was actually really nice, because, I spent Christmas Eve, talking to all my relatives via video cam on Skype. So it was like I was there with them while they were celebrating Christmas Day in Australia.

Christmas day I cooked up an Aussie storm! Although its summer in Australia and for Xmas we usually have lots of seafood and cold fruit and veges. But I made a traditional Australian Roast Lamb with Mint Sauce, Yorkshire puddings (these are not desserts, you eat them with your meal), and roasted veges and gravy. For dessert I had brandy fruit pudding with home-made Aussie Custard  (yes they do not have this over here in the US).

Now, you might think I’m crazy cooking all this food, but I was feeling kinda homesick and needed something traditional to cheer me up. So I’ve had plenty of leftovers. And anyone who has come over to my place, is forced to sit down and eat before they leave. Lol.

Yesterday, I went on a shopping spree on Melrose. I’m still a bargain shopper and got some great deals, but wow, I went a little overboard! Its all good though, I now have plenty of new outfits for AVN in Vegas this January. Although I’m not signing at the convention, but I will be around, talking business with companies. So if you see me, dont be shy, come and say hi!

Talk soon

luv mon xoxo
