In continuation of my last blog… My trip to Philly ended well, although the club had to close on Saturday night, due to a State of Emergency, and I was stranded in my hotel room, alone, then my flight was cancelled and delayed until Wed! The club let me perform on Sunday night instead, so I got to finish up my last 2 shows. Of course, it was very slow, so I really had to push myself to do great anyway. I did my paint show and turned myself into a hot fudge sundae while sitting on a giant champagne glass that came up from the stage! That was a lot of fun and a huge success! Pretty tasty too – and the crowd sure enjoyed it. To top it off, the manager kept on trying the airlines to try and get me home sooner, as I had shoots scheduled for Tues and wed, and what luck, I got the last seat out on Southwest, Monday afternoon.

After spending a very long and delayed day of traveling, I got home, unpacked, and re-packed my outfits for my shoot – early the next morning. I wasn’t feeling well at all, I assumed I was just run down from all the traveling and bad weather. So I got myself up and ready, and went to work. It turned out really well, I shot with Cody Cummings for his website – and guys, if you look it up, he has a bi-sexual website so be warned! It was a great shoot, super hot! And we used condoms – which most of you know, I feel much safer doing that. I thought I had never worked with a bi-sexual guy before, but then I thought long and hard, there‘s been quite a few porn stars who shall remain nameless, that are also into guys! But it really doesn’t matter to me, each to their own you know. Hey, and more power to bi-sexuals, you get the best of both worlds!

After the shoot, I really started to get sick, and ended up having to re-schedule Wednesdays shoot. It was with Cody again, and he was very understanding about it. Gotta love professionalism! I can’t help that I have a cold and don’t want to spread it around. I spent all of Wed in bed, then couldn’t take it anymore, so I tried to convince myself I wasn’t sick by running a few errands here and there, cleaning the house etc… That did not help! All my close friends know that I cannot sit still for 5 mins, I can’t relax, I feel like I always have to be doing something.

Had a friend come round with a bottle of wine for me on Xmas eve – so of course we drank it, felt a little better. Lol. And spoke to my family in Australia via Skype, so jealous! Christmas day I spent catching up on things that I’ve been putting off because I’ve been too busy or distracted. So it was the perfect day to get a lot of work done. No distractions other the occasional Merry Xmas txt/email.

So right now, I’ve finished all I had to do on my to-do list today, which included alot of laundry and going through resumes and emails of prospective design partners for my lingerie line. Which I’ll be interviewing all week. Hopefully, I find someone great who is easy to work with, and we can get this done ASAP.

I’m off to go relax and watch a movie.

I know its been a while since I’ve blogged. But things just got too intensely busy, that I couldn’t seem to find the time to write. Not only have I been going back and forth with my book editing every day for weeks now, but I’ve also been on and off the road, feature dancing. I performed in San Antonio, Texas, which was cool, especially thanks to having some hot girls to hang out with.

I got home from Texas, and hit the Playboy Mansion the following night, for the ESPY celebrity charity poker event. I went with Carmen Hart – who I haven’t seen in over a year! Wow time flies. We had a great time there, running amok, as always, the Playboy Mansion never disappoints! There were mostly sports celebs there, and since I don’t follow sports, I wouldn’t have a clue who was who!

Two days later, I went to feature at a club in Philadelphia. Which was the smallest club I have ever seen! And you wouldn’t have found it if you were looking, cause its basically hidden in an alley with a small sign on a black door. I guess its known by the locals anyway. The stage was ground level and maybe 2’x6’. So it seemed a bit strange to have a feature dancer there. Considering the whole idea of a feature is to put on a big show. Of course, I still put my heart and soul into my performances, making the most of what I had to work with!

Philly is actually a pretty cool city, with lots of theatres, and pubs and restaurants hidden in side streets. The buildings on the street lit up in different colors at night – which looked awesome from my room on the 17th floor. I stayed at a very nice hotel – although the customer service was so rude!

Before I even got there, I had a fight with the front desk guy on the phone. I was trying to have a package sent, and he was extremely rude to me, I ended up telling him to fuck off. (Hoping that he wouldn’t remember my name when I arrived) LOL. I’m very giving and friendly if your respectful to me, but the dark side will come out if you piss me off!

I wont bore you with the sordid details of what happened with the package and the other RUDE people I’ve been dealing with trying to get it back. 30 of my movies, gone! I don’t give up that easily, so I‘ll keep on them, guaranteed!

On a funny note, I had a few friends come up to Philly from Maryland, and at 3am after I was finished on my last night performing, I dragged everyone out to get a real Philly Cheese Steak. It was delicious! And I thought I wouldn’t like all that meat and cheese, but it was just the right amount. Then we went back to my room, and I somehow started a pillow and mattress fight. HAHA. It was fucking hysterical. And no there was no sex involved with the 3 guy friends I was hanging with. Hard to believe from a porn star right? I just love to have a good time and be able to joke around without anyone complaining or being too serious.

When I got back home to LA, I found a letter from a collection agency, for a huge fine, apparently for not showing up in court for a red light camera ticket which I never received last year! I made the mistake of calling to find out what the hell this was – and yet again, another argument! FYI I would never purposely run a red light, I don’t ever recall even doing that – I cant wait to see the photo, the evidence! I bet they have conveniently lost it. How can you fine me for something that I never received a citation for? And never even knew that I did! The system is so fucked up. I might need some anger management classes after dealing with all these bad attitudes lately! JK. Yoga and meditation. Deep Breaths!

So as I’m writing this, I’m still editing my book – which you can now pre-order through a link on the front page of my website www.monicamayhem.com . And I’m about to start getting ready for my show on www.rudetv.com tonight. Usually its on Thursday nights, but I think I’m switching to Wednesdays from now on. 8pm-10pm pst. Except for next wednesday when i’ll be at the Hustler/free speech coalition party at the Whiskey a go go in Hollywood!

And hopefully, I’ll be able to take a day off tomorrow and hit Malibu! Try to relax for at least one day.

I am craving just one really good nights sleep! If I could just fall asleep easily and sleep more than 4hrs straight, I would be so happy! I refuse to take sleeping pills. With all the shit that I had put my body through over the years – back in the days of partying my ass off, I’m too scared to take anything that isnt herbal. And no, weed does not help me sleep! lol. But is great every now and then to take my mind off things.

Juneau Wisconsin was definately an experience. The club itself was beautiful, you didnt feel like you were in the middle of nowhere when you walk into that club. The girls were hot, and most of them were actually friendly towards me. Thats all i’m going to say.

I was shocked to hear about Michael Jacksons death. Very sad, he was such a genius, there will never be anyone like him. I dont believe he was a pedophile, just a man who never had a real childhood, and wanted to re-live that, living in a fantasy world.

Moving on,  I just came back from shooting a very interesting reality type show – which is also going to be a porn flick, but hopefully they’ll sell the reality part to MTV or something. I can’t talk about it though, sorry! We’ll just have to wait and see what happens with it.

Aside from that, i’m just busy trying to get things back in order in my office and around the house. Always so much work to catch up on when you get back in town. And being tired all the time, doesn’t help achieve much! But I’m pushing myself anyway. I wont let this insomnia hold me back!

I am very happy to have received such great feedback from everyone on the condom issue in my last blog. Some people say it ruins the fantasy when they’re watching porn, but for the most part, people agree that our health should be first priority, and alot of fans dont care whether there’s a condom in the scene or not – as long as they dont see the guy putting it on.

Well I’m currently in Juneau – Wisconsin not Alaska. And there’s absolutely nothing around really. I’m in an apartment rather than a hotel – cause there are none! I just finished cleaning the hell of out it – cause i’m a clean freak, bought some flowers, candles and incense to feel more at home. And alot of healthy food so I can cook every day. That way I know i’m going to be eating great meals!

I went for a long walk, worked out. And currently doing laundry, checking emails, talking to friends on skype and aol. Thank god for internet! And TV! I think I would go crazy otherwise. And I guess I can forget about getting any sleep with all the trucks driving by starting at 5am! I suffer from insomnia in general, something i’m trying to cure with acupuncture and chinese herbs. But a bit hard when on the road so much.

I try to look at the brightside of everything. I’m just happy to be working. I have 2 days off before I start featuring at this club, Silk, here in Juneau – I really hope people will drive out here to see me! Its full nude, full alcohol. The only county in WI with those rules. But Summerfest (a huge rock music festival) starts on Thursday in Milwaukee – where I was last week, doh! So fingers crossed anyway.

Now on another issue, bitchy girls. Seriously, some really bad fucking attitudes from alot of strippers in every club I go to. And i’m so friendly to everyone, I say hello, and just get filthy looks. Some girls are really nice and supportive, dont get me wrong, but god damn do these other bitches realize how fucking rude they are.

Why spend your whole life being bitter and rude to everyone. Its such an ugly trait. And your never gonna get ahead in life with that kind of behaviour. I’ve worked my arse off to get to where i’m at, to get these feature gigs – to help bring customers into the clubs so the girls in turn, can make more money too. I guess some people will just be haters their whole life. And live in misery. I feel sorry for them. But if it wasn’t for my controlled anger management. I would get in some serious fights.

Ahhhhhhhhh yeah, got that off my chest! Thats all for now!

Another great weekend of dancing. Greenbay is a very small but nice town. The Oval Office (strip club) was very nice also. I started off thursday having to get a license to dance, then went to the club to do a radio interview, before heading back to my hotel to get ready for the night. 3 shows every night. On Thursday, the DJ got in trouble for saying the ‘C’ word. I guess Americans really dont like that word at all, the girls thought he was talking about them! haha, so they all threatened not to tip him. He was just playin around, pretending to be Australian, but when he said it on the mic, everyone’s heads just turned all at once. I was crackin’ up on stage. It was pretty funny. Some people need a bit more of a sense of humour I think!

Cooter ball was tough on the first night, took 3 songs before anyone got the dollar bill in the shotglass! But hey, its worth it to win a free dvd right? And of course I took my lotion show to the stage – plenty of pics of that on my website, and dancing. I love to do the lesbian shows, seems to go down really well! Who wouldn’t like to see 2 girls in 69? I also did rides for 5. That was alot of fun, but damn my knees were all bruised up from that, to the point where I had to stop doing that in the rest of my shows. Thank god the rails around the stage were padded, I think every club should do that, genius idea!

I did quite alot of lapdances too. One for a couple – that seems to be a trend with me, the couples thing. I know they went straight home after that dance! Most people were too shy to actually come up and say hi to me. They would just stare and wave. haha. I really dont bite you know! I’m always sitting there smiling saying hi, but people are just scared of me!

I was leaving the hotel on sunday, and there was about 500 12yr olds there. My driver asked the girls to let me through cause I had a plane to catch, and they were all yelling ‘bye Gwen Stefani’, it was so cute. I’m very flattered, but I know I dont look like Gwen.

Greenbay airport would have to be my favorite of all time! There was no-one in line, and the security guards were all smiling and very talkative. What a nice change to travel that way. As you can imagine, LAX is not the friendliest airport, with a ton of people in line.

Now I’m back home in LA for 2 weeks and have the longest list of things to do. Was so nice to go grocery shopping today and be able to make my own fresh and healthy food! Living off of hotel and stripclub food is not exactly always the healthiest or tastiest. Although I had a really great burger at the club! haha, so naughty. Not looking forward to doing taxes! ahhhhhhhhhh. Again, I’m late with that. Oh well, gotta do what you gotta do! Now back to work!

I had a great time dancing at TD’s Eubanks, and Fantasy World in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Since my favorite game, ‘Cooter Ball’, was not allowed to be played in the club, due to some law. I incorporated a couple of other acts into my show. Why didn’t I think of this before???? The lotion show – I pour lotion all over my body and rub it in, then let the customers slap their bills on me, to create an outfit of $$$.

The other thing, ‘Rides for 5′. Alot of clubs wont let you do most of these types of shows, due to state or county laws, but this one involves the customer giving me $5, and I drag them on stage and give a dirty little dance – up very close and personal. I had so many girls and guys wanting to do this. Of course you dont get a full song or anything – that you have to come and see me for after the show. But you get a very nice view!

I wish I could have got to do more in New Mexico, but I spent all the time sleeping due to major jet lag and insomnia. I really wanted to go on the skyrail up in the mountains! Maybe some other time. I did eat some giant Oysters while I was there, they were on steroids! Seriously, I’ve never seen them so big. A little too meaty for my liking though. Apparently they came from Louisiana. Yes, I am an oyster conneissuer. You either love em or hate em, I happen to LOVE them.

So Tomorrow I fly out to Greenbay, Wisconsin to dance at ‘Oval Office’. Which I hear is a great city and a great club. Home of the Greenbay Packers I hear – since I know nothing about football. Too bad I dont have a green and gold outfit – since that is also the colors of Australia! This gives me an idea for a new costume.

Anyway, got lots to take care of right now.

I’ve been having a great time back home in OZ. Started off a week or so ago in Lorne VIC, at the AdultEx convention. It was all toy distributors and retailers, not a fan thing, but I signed alot of store posters for my Saucy Aussie Collection of toys. And hopefully will be back in around 6 months to do some store signings around the country!
Everyone was so cool and so much fun, Calvista really did a great job. Drank quite alot, while being jetlagged at the same time – not a good combo, but I got through it just fine.
Next stop Sydney, had a few days to catch up with a few people, before heading to melbourne to dance at the Spearmint Rhino. Which was alot of fun, had a great time and the staff were amazing. So many hot chicks! The patrons aren’t used to features, so I got on the mic on the last night and that created a big stir, did alot of lapdances that night.
Went out to a couple of clubs afterwards, but a little bit too heavy for my liking. Long gone are my days of hardcore trance and techno clubbing. It was really a bit seedy, so we left and continued the party in my hotel.
Had a couple of girlfriends come down to Melbourne, so we did a bit of shopping, and went to some nice restaurants.
Now i’m back in Sydney with my family, catching up on emails etc.. Got alot of friends to see this week. Not enough time here unfortunately, but I gotta fly to New Mexico to dance the day after I get back to LA.

I’m back from my trip to Pasadena, Texas. Kinda wiped out but I got alot of work to catch up on this week. I know your probably thinking ‘what kind of work must a pornstar have other than shooting’, well when you run your own business and have a whole lot of other projects going on, you’ll understand.

The trip was a success, despite the fact that the whole of Houston was at ‘Rodeo weekend’. So not too many cowboys came into the club this time around. Had a great time, only problem was, the pole was not really a stripper pole, so all the new tricks I had just learnt, I couldn’t do! It was so slippery I could have broken my neck trying to hang upside down. Good thing I know how to entertain without doing the pole tricks anyway!

The last night I was there, the manager said I could get naked, so of course, the crowd went nuts. I guess they dont get to see naked girls dancing in Texas, so it must have been awesome for them. I also did a couple of interviews while I was out there, one on a sports radio show, and the other for Zrock.com, which will be up soon.

Had a great time, people are so nice in Texas, love that southern hospitality. Although some of the girls were total rude bitches to me. I’d straight up go out of my way to say hi, and they would totally, blatantly ignore me or give me a filthy look – and of course, with my feisty nature, if someone disrespects me, I wanna put them in their place, but I have to bite my tongue and smile and walk away so as not to get in a fight. But most of the girls were really sweet. I just put it down to jealousy for those other chicks. You get that in every club, its always the same. Its amazing how much of the same drama you see from different girls in different clubs.

Well, I gotta unpack and set up a bunch of meetings for the week!

Canada was awesome! I really had a great time and look forward to going back next year. I performed 10 shows at Airways in Nisku, Alberta and also a signing at Hush adult megastore in Edmonton.
 
The manager at Airways, Bryon, was very cool and made sure I had a great time. I would highly recommend this club to all feature dancers out there. The store was really nice, very cool people, and of course, I did a bit of shopping while I was there, a couple of pairs of boots and a bustier.
Its so different to dancing in the US. The girls are booked for at least an 18min stage show which can turn into 45mins if your game playing is going well. In order to get tips – which in Canada they have looney’s ($1 and $2 coins) you have to bring a blanket up on stage, along with a plastic jug, and plenty of promo to give away.

When your naked. You do your floor show on the blanket, and go around asking the guys if they wanna play with you. So you roll up your poster into a cone in the jug, and find interesting positions to sit in with the jug by your crotch, and they try and get as many looneys in the jug as they can, and then you give them a poster. The blanket is not only to catch the coins, but so you dont get splinters in your backside from the wooden stage.

oh and it was minus 30 up there! I think thats the most cold i’ve ever felt, but it wasn’t so bad, kinda fun actually, being driven around with the snow and ice blowing around everywhere from the winds, looked really cool.
Now i’m back in Sunny LA for a few weeks, then off to Pasadena, TX.

Right now I’m watching my guitarist come up with ideas for a melody I gave him. So a new song is on the way soon.
