Mayhem in Australia

Tuesday, March 9th, 2010

Wow, where do I begin?? I had the time of my life at Brisbane Sexpo! I headlined this year, and had an amazing turn out. Although people were very scared to come up, they would stand back and stare at me on the stage, taking photos from afar, until they’d had a few beers and got the courage to say hi! Hearts were racing, hands trembling, and people forgetting to grab their signed photos before running off! Awwww, but that was so sweet, everyone was really nice and respectful (aside from a couple of guys, obviously high on GHB, that’s the only time we had to call security over). Some really hot girls, lots of titties out, and orgy style photos on the bed!

Seth Enslow (who just broke the world record for longest jump on a Harley), and the Crusty Demons were there. Fucking amazing show! I got to go up on the truck while they jumped over my head. I’m scared of heights and was shaking, holding onto the gorgeous Sammy Lee (who did such a great job of hosting), but when I looked up at the boys jumping over me, I nearly came in my pants! Such a rush. I don’t know how they do it, back flips and all! The boys were so much fun to hang out with. We had an after party in my suite one night, and security came to shut it down, we were pretty rowdy, I don’t blame them!

Nikki Benz was also there signing, we had a great time hanging out, went out to Cloudland, a beautiful nightclub in Brisbane. We took Seth along with us and hung out with some rugby players – who were not even allowed to be seen with pornstars! We made the news and everything, just because they came to Sexpo to say hi. Can you believe how conservative it is in Australia?

Queensland is now so conservative that the Australian Sex Party has asked me to run as a candidate in the next election to help the fight against censorship in Australia! So now I’m pre-selected, but it has to go before the Eros committee before they select me to run. This should be interesting! And no, I’m not pulling a Mary Carey or Jodie Moore, this is way more serious, and I’m sick of state government bullshit laws over here. Why can’t we, as adults, choose what we can and can’t watch? They’re trying to ban access to internet porn in Queensland! And selling hardcore DVD’s is actually illegal (although stores do it anyway), I mean, how ridiculous is that??? My book has even been banned from some bookstores for being ‘too risqué’. But it is also a best seller!!! So happy!

Myself and a few boys, went out to some after parties on the last night and got mobbed by people everywhere, I couldn’t talk anymore by the end of the night, I was so exhausted. It was actually getting a little dangerous too, and I could feel some fights coming on, so we headed back to the hotel to end the night.

The next morning I had to get up super early to shoot for Picture Premium with Kiki (a new Aussie porn starlet) and one of my favorite Aussie photographers, Tania Stevenson who shot me for Scarlett Blue and Picture mag last year. It was the quickest shoot in history, with my phone ringing off the hook in between, and then I had to rush to the airport to catch a flight to Sydney.

So to wrap it up, had some great signings, saw some great performances, had some great sex, ate some great food, and drank quite a lot, as you do in true Aussie style!

I’ll be taking Nikki to see some Koalas, kangaroos, emu’s etc tomorrow. Then we’re going to hit the town in Sydney. Not sure where yet. It is super hot here today, hopefully the weather stays this way all week so I can hit the beautiful beaches of Sydney and relax for a few days! Ending the weekend celebrating my birthday with friends and family.

Until next time…

Sydney Update…

Sunday, November 1st, 2009

Had a whirlwind trip to Brisbane, with some great signings at ClubX in Brisbane city and Mt Gravatt. Had a blast from the past come and see me in Mt Gravatt, so great to catch up! Along with plenty of radio interviews. Then got to see my big bro later that night, which was a lot of fun, going out for Tapas, eating way too much, and unfortunately, had to cut it short by going to bed early to get up at 5am to fly to Sydney the next day.

Did a ton of interviews in Sydney, which were well worth it. And attended the Sexpo Gala Dinner and Erotic Film Festival that night, where I gave my speech on ‘Freedom of Speech and Censorship within Australia’. Although I had to cut it very short at the last minute, it went down extremely well, and people were actually surprised about how much research I had done, and how well I brought my point across. There is far too much censorship in Australia, especially for a country that has nude surfing competitions, and brothels!

Had my first two signings at Sexpo on Thursday, which was great. The show itself is actually very entertaining. It’s quite big, and there were a lot of great performances. A well known Aussie Comedian ‘Russell Gilbert’ was hosting . Very funny. Amazing performances by Suzie Q. And an artist by the name of ‘Picasso’ who uses his penis to paint portraits of people! You don’t see that everyday! Haha. He was great.

I took a ride in the ‘Penis Train’, which was like a ghost train ride, only you got spooked by penis’. I was cracking up the whole time.

What was great is that the stalls have ‘showbags’ for sale, just like the Ekka, which is an exhibition (Expo) – that’s what we used to call it in QLD. You can get toys, DVD’s (only R-rated), magazines, posters, lingerie and all kinds of different items. A lot different to any of the conventions I‘ve been to over the years in the States, they only have 2 porn stars headlining doing signings, which they fly out from the States and Europe. Of course I was there also, but it was a last minute gig to promote my book, so I had my own booth at the Sexpo Merchandise stall.

They also had strip clubs promoting there, where you could go into another room designed to look like the inside of a club, where girls were in there dancing. Anyone who had anything to do with the sex industry, was at this show! I guess that’s why they call it ‘SEXPO’. And I’m now doing my best to help out with the Australian Sex Party which you can learn more about at sexparty.org.au – Australia’s newest political force, doing their part in protecting citizen’s sexual rights and freedoms! Go Fiona Patten! You have my support, most definitely.

As for the book reviews, I’m so excited! People kept coming up to me saying how much they loved the book, and that they read it within 2 days, and wanted to read more. I was really nervous before it’s release, and to hear these things, really makes my day.

It was a great four days at Sexpo, although I suffered from Tonsillitis the whole time, so I couldn’t go out and mingle after. But it was still fun anyway.

I’m now catching up with family in Sydney for a few days, having a bit of a break before heading to Perth on Friday to perform at the Voodoo Lounge. I’m sure that will be awesome, I’ve heard great things about this club.

Until next time…..
